Chinese Mobiles to be Banned in India
When ever we say “Chinese mobile”, it means a mobile with features of a high end mobile phone at 1/4th of the price.
It’s shocking that Chinese mobile are getting banned in India. If they get banned, its users will not be able to make or receive a call. Calling up for the statistics, up to 1.5cr.mobiles which are already sold, will get wasted up. On an individual level, every Chinese handset user will face the loss.
I got to know that these mobiles are getting banned because they don’t have a proper EMEI number. Thus these cannot be traced and hence possess a high degree security threat to India. It’s the information ministry, who has decided to ban these sets, as these don’t ensure safety measures.
The real reason of banning these mobiles lies in IEMI number. So efforts should be made in fixing the problem of IEMI numbers rather than banning it.
But if it marks a question on the security of India, it should be banned, otherwise not.
