NANO This car is shortly coming up with this lowest price variant, although said as Rupee 1 lac car the exact price slated to be between 1.0 and 1.3 lacs slab. The easy-to-afford price tag shall surely make Nano a car of common man in India and make true the dream of low income group to own a car.
The length, width and height of this small car are respectively 3.1 m, 1.5 m and 1.6 m. The engine is rear-mounted , 2-cylindered and 624cc, rendering a top speed of 105 kmph. In addition the engine is having multi-point fuel injection system.
REVA it is first electric car if India manufactured by Bangalore-based Reva Electric Car Company after 7 years of Research and Development. The rechargeable battery powering this car has a life of 120 km per charge.

The small cars from Maruti Udyog are Maruti-800, Omni and Alto
Maruti-800 is a versatile entry level 4 -seat fuel-efficient car which is present with a/c and non a/c versions. Recently petrol cum LPG version-Maruti-800 duo has also come out. AC variant costs Rs. 2,28,146 while Maruti Suzuki 800 Duo AC LPG is priced at Rs. 2,43,146 .
Maruti Omni It is small car suited for family purpose as well as business. It has come in functional variants of Omni Ambulance and Omni Cargo. The 5- seated, 9- seated and LPG versions are liked by the customers.
While the Maruti MPI STD costs Rs 221287 , 8- seater is priced at Rs. 2000 higher to 5- seater. Omni – 5 seater LPG based costs approx. Rs. 231000.
Alto is the car next to Maruti -800 in price slab. Is is a 5- seater car in vibrant colours present with many striking features. It has Standard , LX and Lxi versions at cost of 2.45L, 2.80 L and 2.99 L respectively.
